It's freaking cold outside.

The cold has definitely kicked in!!! My morning workouts? F that. No, really. There is no way I'm dragging myself out of my nice, warm bed to get in my icebox of a car and drive to the gym when it's 10 degrees outside.

It was nice on some days to be able to get working out over with in the morning, but I've still been doing a pretty good job of keeping up with the gym. The week of Thanksgiving, I made it there 6 times - even Thanksgiving morning! Last week only once though thanks to this awful cold I've been dealing with. I think it's finally coming to an end, but I gave in and picked up some NyQuil today because I haven't slept straight through a night for 8 days now.

Yesterday I climbed 4.5 miles on the Stairmaster, warm up at level 8 then alternating between levels 10 and 12. Tonight I went to my hour boot camp class, then ran on the treadmill for a half hour. I'm OBSESSED with the new Black Eyed Peas song, "The Time." Their music is the best for running, the beats always keep me moving. Last summer I trained for my triathlon to their album "The E.N.D.," this summer I'll definitely be training to their new album : )

Speaking of summer (and is it bad I want summer back already?!), I've decided I'm going to train for a half-marathon. I also want to do the triathlon I did last year - but I really want some people to train with me!! Any takers? It's fun, and you'll feel awesome!! I should probably set my sights on a longer distance triathlon, but I'd rather just focus on running for the half-marathon. I have to figure out how to incorporate triathlon training as well, but we'll sort that out later.
